Jim has over 20 years experience in the construction industry, focusing on retail and commercial tenant improvements and service for the last ten years since starting K and J Construction. Jim believes in establishing a personal relationship with clients while maintaining a professional rapport, and his strengths are his earnest desire to provide a high quality product and his technical ability to do so.
Kim Allen
CFO, Co-Founder
As co-founder of K and J Construction, Kim oversees general operations of the company including insurance, accounts payable/receivable and ensures the company’s profitability and sustainability. Kim has over 17 years experience in construction business and resource management. She also supports a “relationship approach” in maintaining K and J’s long term service agreements.
Judith Toepel
Project Manager
Judith started her career 20 years ago on the design side of the tenant improvement industry, and in the last several years has switched over to managing the construction side. She specializes in retail and commercial tenant improvements as well as site improvements, and enjoys all projects large and small.
Katrina Wilson
Office Manager
With over 15 years experience in accounting and payroll, Katrina has streamlined our accounts payable/receivable system, and refocused the office management on our service and maintenance division.
Joe Malijan
Service Manager
With over ten years of experience, Joe skillfully manages a team of service technicians and oversees many of our small tenant improvement projects. He also specializes in emergency service work, making himself available 24/7 to accommodate after hours service requests.

Since starting with K and J over three years ago, Justin has quickly shown ability to manage multiple service and maintenance challenges while maintaining excellence in professionalism and work ethic.
